Participants in this face-to-face, hands-on workshop, will observe and then practice teaching foundational skills (phonics, high-frequency words, letter knowledge, etc.) using shared reading and interactive writing. The workshop will be held at a Summer School location so that teachers can practice with students and observe real-time results. Participants will leave with practical strategies for teaching foundational skills to their K-2 students.

$150 stipend for participation all 3 days.
June 20-22, 8:00-12:00 at White Sulphur Elementary
